Terms and Conditions
1. Introductory Provisions
1.1 These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) govern the rights and obligations between Secure gate, s.r.o., a private equity entity, ID: 08002816, with its registered office at Jaurisova 515/4, 140 00 Prague 4, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague under file number C 311376 (hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”), and the customer (hereinafter referred to as the “Buyer”) when purchasing online courses on the website www.securegate.investments (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”).
1.2 These Terms comply with the laws of the Czech Republic, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, and the relevant regulations of the European Union.
1.3 By confirming the order on the Website, the Buyer confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
2. Course Offer and Orders
2.1 The Seller offers the following online courses:
• Basics of Option and Stock Trading
• Advanced Course on Profitable Option Trading
2.2 All course content is provided through educational videos, which may be supplemented with text materials or attachments available below the individual videos. The course content may be updated or expanded by the Seller at any time.
2.3 Orders for courses are made exclusively via the Website. The Buyer is required to complete the order form and make payment using the available payment methods.
2.4 Upon successful payment, the Buyer will receive access to a user account on the Website, through which they can access the purchased course.
2.5 Access to the course is provided for an indefinite period (“lifetime access”), subject to the possible termination of Secure gate s.r.o.‘s operations or the Website’s availability at www.securegate.investments.
3. Technical Requirements and Availability
3.1 The course content is provided in the form of videos with a resolution of 1440 × 550 px. For optimal user experience, it is recommended to use a device with a minimum screen resolution of 1920 × 1080 px (Full HD) and a stable internet connection with a speed of at least 10 Mbps.
3.2 The Buyer is responsible for ensuring the technical equipment necessary to access the courses (e.g., computer, tablet, or mobile phone) and for a stable internet connection.
3.3 The Seller is not liable for limited access to the courses caused by technical issues on the Buyer’s side or by third-party service providers (e.g., internet outages or server failures).
4. Price and Payment Terms
4.1 The price of each course is stated on the Website and is final, including all applicable taxes and fees.
4.2 Payment for the course can only be made online using the available payment methods.
4.3 Access to the course is provided to the Buyer immediately after the payment is credited to the Seller’s account.
5. Withdrawal from the Contract and Refunds
5.1 The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of entering into the contract, provided the course has not been accessed.
5.2 The Buyer explicitly agrees that access to the course will be provided immediately after payment and confirms that by doing so, they waive the right to withdraw from the contract within the 14-day period.
5.3 If the Buyer does not access the course within 14 days of payment, they may request to withdraw from the contract and receive a refund.
5.4 The Buyer is not entitled to a refund of any portion of the course fee based on claims that the course information is incorrect, incomplete, or that they did not learn anything new.
6. Disclaimer of Liability for Trading Losses
6.1 The course content is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice. Adherence to the course recommendations does not guarantee profit, as option trading involves a high risk of loss.
6.2 The Seller is not liable for any losses, damages, or harm suffered by the Buyer as a result of applying the knowledge gained from the courses to their own trading.
6.3 The Buyer is fully responsible for their own trading decisions, assumes all risks associated with option trading, and is encouraged to consider their financial situation, experience, and willingness to take risks before starting. It is recommended that the Buyer practices and tests the course information on a broker’s demo account.
7. Copyright Protection and Misuse of Access
7.1 All course content is protected by copyright. The Buyer is not authorized to share, copy, record, distribute, or otherwise make the course content available to third parties.
7.2 Access to the course is intended exclusively for the Buyer. Sharing access credentials with others is considered a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of access to the course without entitlement to a refund.
8. Personal Data Protection
8.1 The Seller processes the Buyer’s personal data in compliance with GDPR and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the Processing of Personal Data.
8.2 Personal data provided by the Buyer in the order form will only be used for order processing, providing access to the course, and potential communication.
8.3 Detailed information on personal data processing is available in the document Privacy Policy, accessible on the Website.
9. Dispute Resolution and Final Provisions
9.1 All legal relationships arising from these Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
9.2 Any disputes between the Buyer and the Seller will be primarily resolved amicably. If an agreement cannot be reached, the disputes will be submitted to the competent court according to the Seller’s registered office.
9.3 The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms. Changes will be announced on the Website and will apply to orders made after their publication.
9.4 These Terms are effective as of December 1, 2024.
